In 6C we love to travel and explore new places. Miss Canning is an avid explorer and has been all over the world. She tries to get to someplace new in the world at least once a year. Travelling is food for the soul!

Hi Mrs Van, thank you for visiting out blog, we will be sure to visit yours. I was lucky enough to spend a few months on Koh Phangan, but it was many years ago and I’m sure much has changed. Make sure you go to the sunset side of the island to see the unbeatable Thai sunsets of red and purple, and if you are confident, a little motorbike or scooter is a great way to get around the island. let us know of your adventures!

Since 2009, I have gon to Fiji once every year! I go in October/November and have gotten my hair Braided each time, and I have left one braid in each time. I still have one in from when I went last year!

Alex I never knew that about you! Doesn’t leaving it in get all knotty? I have also been to Fiji and used to go every year when I was your age- I loved all the games, the food and even the rainy days! You’re a lucky girl.

I personally think the best thing about travelling is eating, because in each different place you go to, there are heaps of different shops with different food!!! 🙂 (I LOVE FOOD!)
But it’s also awesome to stay at home, with no homework, hanging out with friends, eating chocolate….

I like sushi to, and probably Swedish fish and Gingerbread. (I’m Swedish) I also enjoy eating Italian food, once I had a pizza that was bigger than my massive plate……
But you can’t go past pumpkin juice or butterbeer, can you? 😉

So far on my holiday overseas I have been to Paris, London, and yesterday I arrived in New York. In Paris and London my family and I saw many cool things and ate lots of yummy food at many different restaurants. I hope you all had good holidays, From Alice 😛

I love your photos. My family and I love travelling too! Our last trip was in the Sahara Desert in Africa. We drove for hours across the sand and ended up near the Lybian border where we set up camp in the middle of no where and slept under the stars! It was awesome…until I needed the bathroom…but that’s a different story!! 🙂

Your trip sounds like my perfect holiday! I too slept in the Negev desert in Israel near the Dead sea under the stars. It was wonderful until… I got a toothache! There are no dentists in the middle of the desert…

Harrison that is a tough call. I really loved Mexico. So far it is my favourite. I used to live in Costa Rica too- it is very beautiful and yes, the jungles are amazing!

I have been to Barcelona, it is an amazing place. I ate a lot of tapas and explored the beautiful architecture by Gaudi.
I was there when the world cup was being played in South Africa. Spain won the world cup that year and the atmosphere in Barcelona was electric. I bought a Spain soccer scarf and joined in with the celebrations.
I would love to go back there.

Hi everyone,
Having a great time in America. There was so much to see in the USA. I saw so much of my family that I haven’t seen in a long time. Disneyland was awesome. I spent three days there. In San Francisco, I went to Alcatraz and rode over the Golden Gate Bridge. I also ate an American fast food burger. It was the best burger I have ever eaten. Well that does not include homemade.
Right now I am relaxing in sunny Mexico. I can’t wait to come back to Australia and see all of you.

I’m having a great time here in Hawaii. It isn’t sunny but it is hot. I have just come here from Los Angeles, which was really busy. The theme parks were awesome! My favourite was Disneyland. Over here it is Sunday but I believe it is Monday for you guys so have a great first day back today. I’m looking forward to seeing the changes in the classroom.
